VPOINTS is free, and I focus on points accuracy and flexible “wildcard” searching: going out earlier, adjusting the trip length, and trips fully or partly within school holidays. You can set email alerts whenever you like for updates on the seats you watch. I built it because I couldn’t find value on the Virgin Atlantic website, so it became my personal project, which I thought I’d share.
I kept going round in circles trying to find the best value for my points. Everyone collecting points has a dream or a goal to travel, whether it’s a special trip or an upgrade. For me, it’s finding the best value for my family. Paid seat-alert services didn’t feel like good value either, so I made something for myself and for anyone in a similar spot.
